Hyderabad: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Atmakuri Rama Rao School celebrated its 17th Foundation Day and Investiture Ceremony with enthusiasm on Friday at its campus in Jubilee Hills.
The celebrations featured a prize distribution ceremony, where K Ashok Reddy, MD, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), who was the chief guest for the celebrations, felicitated Class X and XII students for their exceptional performance in the CBSE Board Examinations 2024–2025.
The Water Board MD also felicitated students who excelled in various competitions and later administered oaths and presented badges to the newly elected student leaders. Later, as part of Vanamahotsava Week celebrations, the Chief Guest and other dignitaries participated in a sapling plantation drive, promoting environmental awareness and sustainability.
The school also inaugurated two new facilities including a tennis court and an eco-fit zone, aimed at promoting physical fitness and sustainable living. S Gopalakrishnan (Retd IAS), Chairman, School Managing Committee, C Rama Devi, Director (Coordination), V Sriram, Joint Director, Madan Rao, Regional Education Officer, South Zone A-II, and G. Arunasree, Principal, Bhavan’s Public School, Jubilee Hills and others were present.
