Hyderabad Black Hawks spot Telugu volleyball talent, start Goa Trophy with win
Hyderabad Black Hawks have selected four Telugu volleyball players for their Under-21 squad after trials in Vijayawada. The team also began its Goa Guardians Trophy campaign with a straight-set victory over Bengaluru, as 10 PVL franchises compete in the tournament

Hyderabad: Black Hawks, a franchise of the Prime Volleyball League (PVL), recently identified talented Telugu volleyball players during the Under-21 trials held in Vijayawada.
The Hyderabad Black Hawks made a winning start to the Under-21 Goa Guardians Trophy, which began in Goa on Friday. In their opening match against Bengaluru, Hyderabad registered a convincing 15-8, 15-13 and 16-14 victory.
Karthik from Guntur, Dheeman from Visakhapatnam, Srunik from Peddapalli and Akshith from Warangal have earned places in the Hyderabad Black Hawks squad.
Along with them, Shubham Yadav (Uttar Pradesh), Deepak (Haryana), Ayaz Ahmed (Jammu & Kashmir), Sarthak (Madhya Pradesh), Pratik (Karnataka), Suresh Kumar (Tamil Nadu), Rizwan (Tamil Nadu) and Shankar (Tamil Nadu) also impressed during the trials and secured their places in the team.
A total of 10 teams from the Prime Volleyball League, including the Hyderabad Black Hawks, are participating in the tournament. The Goa Guardians Trophy is expected to provide an excellent platform for young volleyball players to showcase their talent and gain valuable competitive experience.
