Hyderabad: Brace for heavy to very heavy rains till August 17
The Met Department and Telangana Weatherman have forecast heavy to very heavy rains in Hyderabad and several districts until August 17, with extremely heavy rainfall likely on August 15–16. The low-pressure system’s impact is now expected between August 12–16

Hyderabad: The likelihood of significant rainfall in the State till August 17 has been forecast by meteorological department and independent weather trackers in the city.
For Wednesday and Thursday, the Met department forecast looks at Hyderabad witnessing heavy to very heavy rains along with thundershowers and gusty winds.
The forecast also suggests possibilities of extremely heavy rainfall on August 15-16 for Adilabad, Kamareddy, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Medak, Sangareddy, Vikarabad and Nizamabad districts.
Meanwhile, independent weather tracker T Balaji (Telanganaweatherman) indicated widespread rains across the state between August 12 and 16.
“Dear people of Telangana, due to rapid favorable conditions, the low-pressure impact is getting postponed. It was expected to be on August 14-17. Now the LPA impact is shifted to August 12-16 (Sic)”, he posted on X.
