Hyderabad: Burglars break into house in Jubilee Hills; steal gold, jewellery

Burglars reportedly broke into a businessman’s unoccupied house in Jubilee Hills and stole over 10 tolas of gold ornaments and a diamond ring. Police have registered a case, collected fingerprints and are examining CCTV footage to identify the suspects.

Hyderabad: Burglars struck at a businessman’s house and reportedly stole over 10 tolas of gold ornaments and a diamond ring on Road No 10 in Jubilee Hills.

According to police, Neelu Kaur, a Rajasthan-based businessman, lodged a complaint stating that the burglars had entered the house through the rear side after removing the window grills. The house was unoccupied at the time of the incident.

The stolen jewellery included an emerald ring, bracelets, necklaces, earrings and other ornaments.

Based on the complaint, the Jubilee Hills Police have booked a case and taken up the investigation.

Before targeting Kaur’s house, the burglar allegedly attempted to break into two other houses in the same locality. However, he fled when the residents woke up after hearing noises.

As part of the investigation, the police collected fingerprints from the crime scene and are examining CCTV footage from houses and surrounding areas to identify the suspects.

Officials suspect the burglars may have targeted Kaur’s house after noticing that no one was present. Further investigation is underway.
