Hyderabad: Burglars steal gold, silver worth lakhs from jewellery shop in Raidurgam
Five unidentified burglars broke into a jewellery shop in Raidurgam on Monday night and stole gold and silver ornaments worth several lakhs. The theft was caught on CCTV, and police have launched an investigation to identify the suspects.
Hyderabad: In a major burglary, thieves broke into a jewellery shop and decamped with gold and silver ornaments worth several lakhs in Raidurgam on Monday night.
Police said five unidentified persons had targeted Syed Jewellery Shop and escaped with nearly two kgs of silver jewellery and gold lockers.
The burglary was captured on the shop’s CCTV cameras, providing crucial clues for the investigation.
The incident came to light on Tuesday morning after the staff had come for their regular duties at the store.
On being alerted, the Raidurgam Police reached the spot and took up an investigation and trying to identify the suspects.
