Hyderabad: A dog kennel and a motor transport office were inaugurated by Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat at the CAR headquarters at Amberpet on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhagwat said armed reserve teams played a significant role in internal security by assisting in personal security officer’s duties, bandobast duties, VIP security etc.
“Armed Reserve teams are playing a crucial role in keeping the society peaceful by assisting law and order forces. Besides, the teams have been doing a commendable job in saving lives during floods and conducting blood donation camps,” he said.
A demobilization camp was organized for 15 days at the Amberpet police grounds for the Armed Reserve force personnel and refresher courses were organized for the personnel.
Bhagwat said ample support would be provided to women to perform their capabilities in varied wings and mentioned that women patrolling teams would be introduced very soon.
