Hyderabad: Class 6 student injured as rashly-driven school bus hits bicycle

A schoolboy was injured after a rashly driven school bus hit his bicycle near A S Rao Nagar on Friday. The boy, Chaitanya Gopishetty, fell and the bus tyre ran over his hand. Police have begun investigation

Hyderabad: A school-going boy was injured after a rashly driven school bus hit the bicycle he was riding at Kushaiguda on Friday.

Chaitanya Gopishetty (10), from Subhash Chandra Nagar in Kushaiguda and a student of Grade VI at Akshara International School, was proceeding on his bicycle from his house to the school when the incident occurred.


As per available information, when he reached near AS Rao Nagar, the bus belonging to his school, which was being driven in a rash and negligent manner, hit his bicycle. Chaitanya fell on the road and the bus tyre ran over his hand, causing injuries.

He was immediately shifted to a nearby private hospital for treatment. Kushaiguda police are investigating.
