Hyderabad: Continental Hospitals organised a one-day conclave on critical care in a hybrid model wherein a few participants were present at the physical venue while others attended the event virtually. The conclave, which featured faculty lectures, pro-con debates, virtual expert panel discussions, provided a platform for nearly 300 critical care physicians, internists, pulmonologists, paediatricians and clinicians from across Telangana.
Dr Gurunath Reddy, founder and director, Continental Hospitals said, “The conclave addressed several important and contemporary issues related to infectious diseases and antimicrobial therapy by faculty from across the country”.
Dr Riyaj Khan, CEO, Continental Hospitals said “medical professionals who are perpetually chasing timelines and patient-oriented goals, CME programmes are important to refresh and upgrade knowledge”. Dr PBN Gopal, HOD, Critical Care said that the conclave featured discussion on issues of multidrug-resistant infections and emerging fungal infections.
