Hyderabad: The Charlapalli police on Saturday solved the murder case of a daily wage worker reported earlier this week and arrested nine persons in connection with the case. A previous enmity led to the murder of Babushal Tudu, police said.
The arrested were identified as Lukhiram Tudu, Rasilal Soren, Abhilash Baski, Utam Hansda, Kosalender Soren, Sikinder Marandi, Sikinder Murmu, Sandip Murmu and Gulab Murmu, all natives of Jharkhand and workers at two different plastic products manufacturing units at IDA Charlapalli.
According to the police, the suspects bore a grudge against Babushal Tudu as the latter tried to dominate them and resorted to abusing and threatening them at the workplace. As per their plan, they got Babushal drunk and bludgeoned him to death with a boulder at a secluded spot near IDA Charlapalli.
