Cops of Gandhinagar police station received information from a neighbour saying a woman had developed labour pain and the cops immediately reached and shifted her to Koti Maternity Hospital
Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Friday appreciated the prompt response of N Mohan Rao, Inspector (Gandhinagar), and his team in shifting a pregnant woman to the hospital.
It was on Wednesday at around 11.30 pm when the police received information from a neighbour saying Laxmi (32) from Jaya Prakash Nagar in New Bhoiguda had developed labour pain and due to the lockdown, there were no cabs or autos available. They wanted her to be immediately shifted to Koti Maternity Hospital.
Mohan Rao alerted head constable S Chandra Sekhar, Constable SM Gouthan Raj and S Meerawali, who rushed to the spot and shifted her to the hospital. She is under treatment and her condition is stable.
