Hyderabad: The Hyderabad She Teams secured the conviction of five men for recently harassing women at the Charminar.
During surveillance operations, the team caught men allegedly engaging in eve-teasing and inappropriate physical contact with women in public places.
The offenders were nabbed on the spot and booked under BNS and City Police Act.
A court in Nampally convicted all five persons and sentenced each of them to three days of simple imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 1,000.
