Hyderabad: A special court for ACB cases here asked the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to confiscate disproportionate assets worth Rs 2.89 crore of the Pay and Accounts Office former superintendent K Venkatehwara Rao in connection with a case registered in 2002.
The assets were now with Rao’s wife Shyamala and sons Madhav and Sheshagiri, according to a press release issued by ACB. The release said that the trio was legal representatives of the assets. The court has abated the action against Rao as he died and acquitted Shyamala, Madhav and Sheshagiri in the case.
