Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner and Additional District Magistrate (Executive), Hyderabad, CV Anand held the executive court at TGICCC in Banjara Hills and heard the case pertaining to the rivalry between Nampally MLA Mohd.Majid Hussain and MLA contestant Mohd. Feroz Khan on Thursday.

He examined the information placed before the court by the Humayun Nagar police who alleged that there has been a long standing political rivalry between Majid Hussain and Feroz Khan to assert dominance in the area.

During this, on October 7, both the leaders and their supporters clashed during an inspection of road repair works being taken up at Feroz Gandhi Nagar in Humayun Nagar, leading to a law and order issue.

The police intervened and dispersed the cadres of both the parties and registered a case under BNS Act, 2023 against both the parties.

Anand heard the version of both the groups and advised them to refrain from such provocative activities and the case was adjourned for further hearing.
