Hyderabad: Crane operator falls to death from 24th floor at Kukatpally construction site

A 22-year-old crane operator died after falling from the 24th floor of a high-rise construction site in Kukatpally. The victim, Yuvaraj Patel, slipped while collecting a load. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

Hyderabad: A tower crane operator died after he accidentally fell from the 24th floor of a multi-storied building construction site in Kukatpally on Friday.

The victim was identified as Yuvaraj Patel (22), a native of Uttar Pradesh who was working as a crane operator for a construction company in the city.

As per available information, the incident occurred in the afternoon, when Yuvaraj along with other workers were busy working on the 24th floor of the building.

While collecting a construction material load, he accidentally slipped and fell from there onto the ground. He suffered grievous bleeding injuries and died on the spot.

The Kukatpally police are investigating.
