Hyderabad crime roundup: Five held in Chevella extortion, teen dies in Rajendranagar crash, factory worker found hanging in Abdullapur
Golconda police arrested five individuals for allegedly blackmailing a yoga practitioner who runs a wellness centre in Chevella. Two women joined the centre under the guise of health issues and later recorded personal videos with the victim, using them to extort Rs 50 lakh and demand Rs 2 crore. A case was registered following the complaint.

Hyderabad: Five persons were arrested by the Golconda police on Sunday for allegedly blackmailing and extorting money from a man.
According to police, a Yoga practitioner runs a wellness centre and ashram in Chevella. A few months ago, two women, citing health issues, joined the wellness centre and stayed there.
Over time, the women recorded personal videos with the victim and began blackmailing him. They initially took a cheque of Rs. 50 lakh from him and later demanded Rs. 2 crore.
Based on a complaint, the police registered a case and arrested five persons Kisara Manjula, Rajni Reddy, C Amar, C Rajesh and D Moulali.
Teen killed, five injured in road mishap in Rajendranagar
One person was killed and five others were injured when their car rammed into a road divider at Rajendranagar in the early hours of Sunday.
The victim, Mohammed Kabeer Khan (19), was travelling in the car along with five of his friends. Around 3.20 am, the car driver lost control of the vehicle due to high speed on Shamshabad-Aramghar road and rammed into the road divider.
Kabeer died on the spot, while five others sustained injuries and were shifted to a private hospital in Shamshabad for treatment. A case is registered and an investigation is underway.
‘Distressed’ factory worker found hanging at Abdullapurmet
Hyderabad: A factory worker died by suicide at Abdullapurmet on Saturday night reportedly due to financial distress.
According to police, Sukamol Jain (29), a resident of Abdullapurmet and a native of Odisha, left home on Saturday evening, saying he had work. On Sunday morning, he was found hanging from a tree by a colleague, who then informed the family.
