Hyderabad: Criminal case against Suchirinda MD Kiron for confining, assaulting employee

The complainant B Priyank joined the company as an accountant about two months ago

Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police filed a criminal case against Y Kiron, the managing director of Suchirindia, a noted real estate company for allegedly confining and assaulting an employee in his room over alleged discrepancies in accounts.

As per available information, the complainant B Priyank joined the company as an accountant about two months ago. A recent internal audit revealed that Rs 5 lakh had been embezzled in the accounts of the Warangal venture and Priyank has been accused to be the reason.

Priyank alleged that on Monday, Suchirindia General Manager Madhusudhan had called him to Kiran’s old office in Nandi Nagar, Banjara Hills to discuss accounts.

Kiron, who arrived later, confined, abused and assaulted Priyank, while enquiring about the missing amount. After Kiron went out, Priyank called Dial 100 and informed the police, who rescued him, according to police accounts.

Based on Priyank’s complaint on Tuesday, a case was booked against Y Kiron under various sections and being investigated.
