Hyderabad: Customs seize 14 kg hydroponic marijuana at RGIA
Customs officials at RGIA seized 14 kg of hydroponic marijuana worth about Rs 14 crore from two passengers arriving from Qatar. The accused have been detained for questioning as authorities warn of a rise in such drug smuggling cases.

Hyderabad: The customs officials at RGIA have reportedly seized around 14 kg of hydroponic marijuana during a check on Friday.
The contraband was found with two passengers who arrived from Qatar. Officials estimate the market value of the seized drug at approximately Rs 14 crore. The passengers have been taken into custody and are being questioned.
Recently, smuggling of hydroponic marijuana grown abroad has been on the rise. Despite increased surveillance by enforcement agencies, attempts to traffic the drug into India continue.
Just two days ago, customs officials recovered 1 kg of hydroponic marijuana from an Air India Express flight.
