Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cybercrime Police arrested a man from Gujarat in connection with a stock trading fraud on Thursday.
The arrested person identified as Lalitkumar Jaiswal (33) from Ahmedabad in Gujarat was involved 16 cases across India including three cases in Telangana.
Police said Lalitkumar and his associates, lured people to invest into stock trading promising good returns in less time. However, after collecting money from investors, they went absconding.
Based on a complaint from a victim from the city who was duped to the tune of Rs 6 lakh, the Cybercrime Police booked a case and nabbed him.
