Hyderabad: Driver stabbed to death by friend in Narsingi
A 39-year-old driver was stabbed to death by his friend following an argument in Narsingi on Saturday night. Police identified the victim as P Karthik of Kokapet and took the accused, Shaik Basha, into custody after registering a case.

Hyderabad: A car driver was brutally stabbed to death by his friend at Narsingi on Saturday night following a brawl between them.
P Karthik (39) is a resident of Kokapet and a native of Mancherial district. A year ago, he came to the city and was working as a driver with a family residing at Kokapet.
According to the police, a few months ago, Karthik was introduced to a man, Shaik Basha, and the two regularly consumed alcohol in the evenings. “On Saturday evening, Basha and Karthik were sitting on the ground floor of the building where the latter stayed and discussing some issue. An argument ensued between them during the discussion. In a fit of rage, Basha took a kitchen knife and stabbed Karthik repeatedly, leading to his death,” said Narsingi Inspector, G Harikrishna Reddy.
On information, the police reached the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem examination to the mortuary. A case was registered against Shaik Basha, and the man was reportedly taken into custody.
