Hyderabad: Drone ban imposed around Parade Grounds for Republic Day

Hyderabad police have imposed prohibitory orders banning drones and other flying devices around Parade Grounds and nearby areas during Republic Day celebrations. The restrictions aim to prevent any breach of peace and ensure public safety.

Hyderabad: Prohibitory orders against drones and all kinds of flying machines under Section 163 of the BNSS will be in force during the Republic Day celebrations at Parade Grounds and in its surrounding areas.

Malkajgiri DCP CH Sridhar, in an order issued on Friday, said that to prevent any breach of peace and public tranquillity, a ban has been imposed on the use of such devices.


The order said no flying activity involving remotely controlled drones, para-gliders or remotely controlled microlight aircraft would be allowed within the limits of Begumpet, Monda Market and Marredpally police station areas.
