Hyderabad: A man, who was drunk, allegedly made an attempt to break into a private bank ATM centre at Chandanagar in the early hours of Monday.

The man, who is yet to be identified, had sneaked into the unmanned centre and damaged the cash dispensing machine. As his repeated attempts failed, he left the spot.

No cash was stolen, but the machine was damaged in the incident, police said.

The Chandanagar police have taken up investigation. Efforts are on to identify and nab the suspect.
