Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is yet to nab four persons who were allegedly involved in the fraudulent purchase of 1,960 square yards prime government land in Madhapur.

ACB officials probing the disproportionate assets (DA) cases against former Malkajgiri Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Y Narasimha Reddy had on Saturday arrested eight persons in the case and said four more suspects were absconding.

According to the remand case diary, G Rajalingam (63) and Y Pedda Shankaraiah (66), both natives of Nalgonda district, and P Venkat Reddy (62) and A Gali Reddy (68), both natives of Warangal district are absconding.

The four were named as donors of gift deeds of the Sub-Registrar Office, LB Nagar. On Saturday, the ACB nabbed the eight persons- G Sajjan Goud, P Tirupati Reddy, Y Chandrasekhar, A Jaipal, Madhukar Sriram, Bandi Chandra Reddy, Bathini Ramesh and A Srinivasa Reddy.

Meanwhile, the ACB is collecting more information from the ACP during his three-day custody that started on Monday. The focus was on the ACP’s alleged land dealings and purchase of lands in Madhapur, Shankarpally and at his native place in Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh.
