Hyderabad: The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) on Tuesday cautioned students against fake news being circulated on the university’s letterhead on social media regarding the reopening of hostels and physical classes from July 4.
“The English and Foreign Languages University condemns the fake news circulated on its letterhead by some mischief-mongers today that the hostels and the face-to-face classes will be reopened from July 4,” the EFLU said in a press release.
The University clarified that the classes and research guidance will be provided through online mode only for students and PhD scholars as per the circulars issued earlier.
The varsity asked staff, students, scholars and prospective students to check the University official website only for all information and notifications.
