Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, an eight-year-old girl died after a wooden almirah accidentally fell on her at a private school in Boduppal here on Monday night.

According to the police, while Latha was busy cleaning the furniture in the classrooms, the two children were playing in an adjacent classroom.
“While playing, the wooden almirah loaded with books accidentally fell on the child and she suffered grievous injuries,” said an official.
She was immediately shifted to a private hospital, where she died later while undergoing treatment.
The Medipally police are investigating.The body was shifted to the hospital for autopsy.
