Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, an elderly man who was brutally attacked in a road rage by a motorist last month in Alwal, died while undergoing treatment in the hospital on Thursday.
The incident occurred on September 30, while the victim Anjaneyulu (65), was crossing a busy road when a motorbike rider driving in a rash and negligent manner was advised by him to drive slow.
Police sources said, in response, the rider attacked him, causing the elderly man to fall and suffer a severe head injury.
His family rushed him to a private hospital, but despite efforts to save him, he passed away while receiving treatment.
The Alwal police registered a case, and the motorbike rider was arrested.
The incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed on the road.
