Hyderabad faces 24-hour water cut, HMWSSB to attend leakage repair works
Hyderabad city will face a 24-hour water supply cut from September 24 to 25 due to leakage repairs in the 1500 mm PSC pumping main from Kalabgur to Hyder Nagar. Some areas will have low pressure, others no supply

Hyderabad: Hyderabad city will experience no water supply for 24 hours from September 24 to 25, as repair work is scheduled to take place.
“Significant leaks have developed in the 1500 mm diameter PSC pumping main from Kalabgur to Hyder Nagar in Manjeera Phase-2, which supplies drinking water to the city of Hyderabad. To address these leaks, repair work will be conducted from 6 am on September 24 to 6 am on September 25,” according to an official statement issued by HMWSSB on Monday.
During this 24-hour period, water supply will be at low pressure in some areas, while other areas will experience a complete interruption.
Areas affected by the interruption:
R C Puram, Ashok Nagar, Jyoti Nagar, Lingampally, Chandanagar, Gangaram, Madeenaguda, Miyapur, Beeramguda, Ameenpur, Offtake Points, Bulk Connections, Erragadda, S.R. Nagar, Ameerpet, KPHB Colony, Kukatpally, Bhagyanagar Colony, and Pragati Nagar.
