Hyderabad: A fatal road accident claimed the life of a film crew member and left five others seriously injured, involving the unit of actor Prabhas’s upcoming film ‘Fauji’ at Abdullapurmet, a suburb, on Tuesday.
The mishap took place when a production vehicle carrying crew members was on its way to a film shooting location at the Ramoji Film City in Abdullapurmet. It reportedly lost control at high speed and crashed into a road median.
One member of the production union, identified as Ramaraju, died in the accident, while the injured were rushed to a nearby private hospital for treatment.
The Abdullapurmet police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
