Hyderabad: Fire at Sanathnagar factory guts property worth lakhs
A major fire broke out at DuroDine Industries in Sanathnagar in the early hours of Thursday, destroying property worth several lakhs. The blaze, which began in the packing godown, was controlled after six hours with help from a firefighting robot.

Hyderabad: Property worth several lakhs was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at a paper plates and plastic material manufacturing company at Sanathnagar in the early hours of Thursday.
The fire started at DuroDine Industries, located in the Sanathnagar Industrial Area, and rapidly spread through the facility. Due to the magnitude of the fire, the property stored in the company was completely burned down.
On receiving information, five fire tenders from nearby fire stations rushed to the spot to control the raging blaze.
According to officials, the fire started in the packing godown of the company, where plastic plates and dinner sets were stored. “The fire rapidly spread due to the presence of combustible material. A firefighting robot was also used to access difficult areas inside the unit,” the official added.
The fire officials managed to control the fire after six hours of operation.
