Hyderabad: Fire in scrap godown, none hurt

Hyderabad: A major portion of a scrap godown was gutted in a fire at Boduppal in Medipally in the city suburbs on Monday.
No casualties were reported and officials suspect a short circuit might have led to the fire.
The godown is located near a residential area and locals noticed fire and thick smoke emanating from the premises and alerted the police and fire department.
A fire engine doused the fire within an hour, by which most of the godown was damaged. The Medipally police are investigating.
