Hyderabad fish prasadam: Till now 38,000 tokens issues  

Fish prasadam distribution in Hyderabad saw large crowds as officials issued around 38,000 tokens. The Fisheries Department prepared 1.3 lakh murrel fish seeds for the event, which continued at Exhibition Grounds with expectations of even higher turnout

Hyderabad: Fish prasadam distribution continued in Hyderabad with a heavy turnout, with officials of the Fisheries Department stating that till now 38,000 tokens had been issued.

T Srinivas, deputy director, Fisheries Department, Telangana, said the department kept 1.30 lakh murrel fish seed ready for fish prasadam distribution.

“More people are expected to arrive today for fish prasadam, which will be concluded on Tuesday. Tokens were issued through special counters at the exhibition grounds on Monday and continued on Tuesday until fish prasadam closed up to 9 pm,” T Srinivas, deputy director, Fisheries Department, Telangana, told Telangana Today.

Bathini family members, who were also organisers of the event, said that they anticipated higher footfall as the event continued on the second day, today.
