Hyderabad: Five arrested for assault on YouTuber Girish Daramoni in Hyderguda

As many as 50 members, mostly women, took objection to the alleged derogatory content against Union Minister for State Bandi Sanjay

Hyderabad: The Rajendranagar police arrested five persons in connection with the assault on YouTuber Girish Daramoni in Hyderguda on Wednesday.

As per available information, as many as 50 members, mostly women, took objection to the alleged derogatory content against Union Minister for State Bandi Sanjay which was recently posted on Girish’s YouTube channel named ‘Chitragupth’ and assaulted the YouTuber.

Based on a complaint, the Rajendranagar police have booked a case against 45 persons, who are yet to be identified and arrested.

Meanwhile, Girish, who was severely injured, is recovering in the hospital.
