Hyderabad: Five persons who allegedly attacked a businessman at Langer Houz and robbed his gold chain and mobile phone on Tuesday were arrested by the police.
The arrested persons were Mohammed Khaja Pasha (24), Mohammed Aslam (23), Mohd Asif (26), Mohammed Habeeb (22) and Shaik Qasim (26), all residents of MM Pahad in Attapur.
“They waylaid Marka Srikanth, a resident of Seethapalmandi, while he was on way to Attapur on his motorcycle. They blamed him for causing an accident by driving in rash manner and snatched his mobile phone and gold chain,” City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said.
The police recovered the gold chain and mobile phone and seized two motorcycles as well from them.
