Hyderabad: Fraudster arrested after fleeing with Rs 2.79 crore in chit fund scam
The Cyberabad police on Tuesday arrested a fraudster A Surya Pratap Reddy, a resident of Chandanagar, who had duped several persons on the pretext of operating chit fund business.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police on Tuesday arrested a fraudster A Surya Pratap Reddy, a resident of Chandanagar, who had duped several persons on the pretext of operating chit fund business. He was operating the business illegally for last 14 years.
“Pratap collected around Rs. 2.79 crore from about 80 people and fled away,” DCP Cyberabad, K Prasad said. On a complaint, from the victims the police had registered a case and arrested him.
