Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force (West) team raided a gambling den at Kulsumpura on Saturday night. The police seized Rs 25,380 cash, mobile phones and playing cards from the place.

Acting on a tip-off, the team raided a house located at Jiyaguda in Kulsumpura and found ten persons playing three cards game. A person Dharmesh was found organising the gambling at his house and inviting the participants and collecting a commission from them.


The ten persons along with the property were handed over to the Kulsumpura police station for further action.

Seven held red-handed while gambling in Gandhinagar

In another case, seven persons, who were gambling at a house in Gandhinagar, were caught by the Commissioner’s Task Force (Central) team on Sunday. The police seized Rs 43,090 cash and seven mobile phones from them.

Acting on a tip-off, the Task Force team led by Inspector MA Jaweed, raided a house near Agra Sweets at Kavadiguda and found the seven persons playing three cards game and gambling. The organiser, Y Balaraju was inviting the participants and collecting a commission from them.

The seven persons along with the property were handed over to the Gandhinagar police station for further action.
