Hyderabad: Craving for tea? Now get it free of cost! City-based Rabindernath Foundation along with Loo Cafe launched ‘Free Chai Counter’ at Banjara Hills Road No 2 which offers tea and biscuits for free. Anyone can visit the place for a quick, free chai.
“The Free Chai Counter is an initiative for people to refresh and relax over a free chai and biscuits, in addition to free water and bathroom facilities,” says Abhishek Bandiwadekar, a member of Rabindernath Foundation and Business head at Loo Cafe.
The counter is located near Indo American Cancer Hospital, opposite to KBR Park. According to Abhishek, visitors to the hospital, municipal workers and daily wagers are mostly benefitted by this initiative.
On an average, the counter sees about 300-500 people daily.
