Hyderabad: Hyderabad Globe FC won the CCOB Cup Under-21 football championship, defeating Hyderabad Sporting 1-0 in the final at Quli Qutub Shah Stadium here.

The match-winner came from Syed Imtiyaz Ahmed in the 55th minute.

Earlier, in the quarterfinal, Hyderabad Globe FC defeated Saidabad Football Club 5-0, with Faizah Ahmed (2), Sham, Saifullah and Omer Farooq being the scorers.

In the semifinal, Globe scored a 1-0 win against CCOB, with Saifullah netting the match-winner, while Hyderabad Sporting edged out Abbas Union FC via a tie-breaker after the teams were locked at one-all at full-time.
