An engineering student, Sri Varshini died after she allegedly suffered injuries while driving a quadra cycle at the play zone on Thursday
Hyderabad: The Meerpet police on Friday arrested two managing partners and a worker of Hasten Go-Karting play zone in Gurramguda on charges of alleged negligence causing the death of Sri Varshini, an engineering student.
The arrested persons are G Lohith Reddy (29) and M Kiran Kumar (30), managing partners of Hasten Go-Karting play zone and K Srikanth (23), a worker at the play zone.
According to the police, Lohith and Kiran were running the Go-Karting play zone without a valid permission from the authorities concerned and also did not have safety measures in place before allowing customers. Srikanth was allowing customers without giving any precautions or taking proper safety measures in a negligent manner.
“They were booked and arrested for their negligence causing loss of life and for not following the SOPs issued by the government in view of the coronavirus pandemic,” the police said. Sri Varshini, died after she allegedly suffered injuries while driving a quadra cycle at the play zone.
