Hyderabad: Gold chain snatched from woman in Nacharam
A woman named Lakshmi was walking in Karthikeya Nagar when two men on a motorcycle snatched her 3-tola gold chain and escaped. She raised an alarm, but the suspects fled. Nacharam police are checking CCTV footage to identify them
Hyderabad: A chain snatcher targeted a woman and escaped with her gold chain at Nacharam on Monday.
The woman, Lakshmi (40), was walking on the road in Karthikeya Nagar, when two unidentified persons, who came on a motorcycle, snatched away her gold chain weighing 3 tolas.
Police said by the time she realised what had happened and raised an alarm, the offender escaped into the bylanes.
The Nacharam police are investigating. They are examining the footage from the surveillance cameras in the surroundings to identify and nab the suspects.
