Hyderabad: Hare Krishna Golden Temple to celebrate Sri Narasimha Jayanthi on May 11
Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji, President of the Hare Krishna Movement – Hyderabad, said the Sri Narasimha Jayanthi Festival will be celebrated at Telangana’s first Golden Temple on May 11, with preparations already in progress.
Hyderabad: The Hare Krishna Golden Temple, one of the ancient Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temples of Hyderabad, located on a hillock in Banjara Hills, will be celebrating Sri Narasimha Jayanthi festival at on May 11.
Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji, President of Hare Krishna Movement – Hyderabad, said, “We are celebrating Sri Narasimha Jayanthi Festival at our First Golden Temple of Telangana on May 11, with all necessary arrangements currently underway.”
The festival highlights include Special Darshan of the Swayambhu Deity and Vishesha Alankara of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy as Yoga Narasimha, opportunity for devotees to participate in Jhulan Seva throughout the day, Maha Abhishekam to Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, Sri Narasimha Homa followed by Kalyanotsavam and 108 Kalasha Maha Abhishekam to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy (Utsavar Deity).
A unique program for children and parents to chant powerful Narasimha mantras will be held to overcome fear, anxiety, and self-doubt by awakening Abhaya—divine fearlessness through the protective power of sacred Mantra at 9 am.
