Hyderabad: With an objective to help Covid-19 patients, Haryana Nagrik Sangh, a city-based NGO, has decided to donate oxygen cylinders and oxygen concentrators for free.
Anjani Kumar Agarwal, president of Haryana Nagrik Sangh, said they will provide 50 oxygen concentrators and cylinders to needy Covid patients in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medchal Malkajgiri for a period of one week. The cylinders will be used for other patients later.
Apart from this, Agarwal also said they have empaneled ten doctors who offer round-the-clock free online and phone consultation and the sangh is also delivering medicines for free. Their volunteers are also helping people find medical information.
Moreover, they have conducted programmes on plasma donation and enabled a lot of community members to donate plasma, said Purushotham Agarwal, sangh’s vice-president. Former president Ram Goel handed over oxygen concentrators and cylinders to the families of Covid patients.
