Hyderabad: Heavy police deployment in Ashok Nagar following group-1 protest

Demanding postponement of Group - I examination scheduled to be held from October 21, several Group-I candidates held a protest blocking the road.

Hyderabad: Police personnel were deployed in good numbers at Ashok Nagar in Domalguda police station limits to prevent any untoward incidents here on Thursday.

Traffic congestion was reported for a brief time. Senior police officials said no preventive arrests were made as the protest was called off soon.
Meanwhile, BRS party working president K.T.Rama Rao extended support to the aspirants and assured to meet them at on Thursday.
