Hyderabad: Hit-and-run driver arrested after victim dies in hospital

Saidabad police arrested Sai Charan, the driver accused of a hit-and-run that killed motorcyclist Sunil Kumar on Champapet Road. The car dragged the motorcycle for about 50 metres. Charan was arrested four days after the incident while he was absconding.

Hyderabad: The Saidabad police arrested the driver of the car who was involved in a hit-and-run case that resulted in the death of a man four days ago.

The man Sai Charan (21) was driving a car and rammed into a motorcycle at Champapet road, resulting in the death of one Sunil Kumar (27). The impact of the crash was such that the motorcycle was dragged for about 50 metres. The incident happened early on Sunday.


Sunil died while undergoing treatment at hospital later. Sai Charan had been absconding since the accident and was arrested by the police on Wednesday. Sai Charan was along with a friend and was on the way to Uppal to pick up another friend and then drop him at RGI Airport.
