Miyapur police arrested cab driver K. Govind Rao for allegedly snatching a gold chain from an elderly woman during her morning walk. The accused was traced using technical evidence, and the stolen chain was recovered. Investigation is ongoing.
Saidabad police arrested Sai Charan, the driver accused of a hit-and-run that killed motorcyclist Sunil Kumar on Champapet Road. The car dragged the motorcycle for about 50 metres. Charan was arrested four days after the incident while he was absconding.
