Hyderabad: House burglar held, property worth over Rs 5 lakh recovered
Police said Mustafa had been committing burglaries since 1992 and was arrested by the Chandrayangutta and Santosh Nagar police in 11 burglary cases in 2015
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Task Force along with the Chandrayangutta police on Friday arrested Habeeb Mustafa Khan (44), a mechanic from Madannapet, who was allegedly involved in about 45 house burglaries. Police recovered stolen material worth over Rs 5 lakh from him.
Police said Mustafa had been committing burglaries since 1992 and was arrested by the Chandrayangutta and Santosh Nagar police in 11 burglary cases in 2015. He was also detained under the PD Act. He went absconding after being released from jail in 2016. At present, there were 15 Non-Bailable Warrants pending against him at various police stations in the city.
