Hyderabad: House burgled in Hydershakote; gold and cash stolen
Burglars broke into a locked house in Kapil Nagar, Hydershakote, and stole 30 tolas of gold, Rs 5 lakh in cash, and gadgets while the family was away. Rajendranagar police have registered a case and launched an investigation

Hyderabad: Burglars struck at a house and allegedly decamped with 30 tolas of gold ornaments, cash of Rs 5 lakh and gadgets at Kapil Nagar in Hydershakote in the suburb on Thursday.
As per available information, the house owner Sridhar Reddy and his family members had locked the house and gone to the native place to attend a wedding on Monday, when the incident occurred.
The burglars broke open the lock of the main door and entered into the house and fled with the valuables.
When the residents returned, they realised the house was burgled and approached the police.
Based on a complaint, the Rajendranagar police booked a case and took up investigation.
The crime team visited the spot and collected clues. The CCTV footage is being examined.
