Hyderabad: Huge response for Hare Krishna International Heritage Fest
The 'Heritage Fest' featured gifted children who showcased their talent in various cultural events including Rangoli and Gita sloka chanting among others

Hyderabad: The annual heritage and culture festival of Hare Krishna Movement – Hyderabad (HKM) ‘Hare Krishna International Heritage Fest’ held on Sunday at Ravindra Bharathi received an overwhelming response from students, teachers, school managements and parents from Hyderabad and other parts of the State.
Conducted by ‘Sumedhasa’, the cultural wing of HKM-Hyderabad, the ‘Heritage Fest’ featured gifted children who showcased their talent in various cultural events including Rangoli, Gita sloka chanting, flower decoration, folk dance, classical music, elocution, painting, sketching, and storytelling etc.
For the finals of various cultural events that were held on Sunday, a total of 23,000 students from more than 250 schools in Hyderabad had earlier participated in qualifying rounds out of which 600 students participated in finals and more than 275 winners received prizes.
Burra Venkatesham, Chairman, Telangana State Public Service Commission, Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhu, president, Hare Krishna Movement and others were present.
