Hyderabad: Interstate peddler nabbed, marijuana work Rs. 50 lakh seized from him
Police said the arrested Jadhav Shivaram has been active in drug peddling business since 2015
Hyderabad: The Task Force (South-East) team along with the Chandrayangutta police nabbed one interstate drug peddler and seized 200 kgs of marijuana worth Rs 50 lakh on Thursday.
The arrested person is Jadhav Shivaram S/o Jadhav Vasuram (34), a car driver from Sangareddy district.
Police said Jadhav Shivaram has been active in drug peddling business since 2015. He procured marijuana at a low cost from local drug dealers in Sileru in Visakhapatnam and agency areas in Odisha. He further smuggled them to Maharashtra and Hyderabad and sold to consumers at a high rate.
He was involved in similar cases earlier too and also arrested.
In this case, other suspects Subash and Jaipal are yet to be nabbed.
