Hyderabad: Jilted lover shoots girlfriend’s father with airgun after daughter sent to US
According to the police, a 57-year-old businessman lives with his family, including his 23-year-old daughter, in Venkateshwar Colony, Saroornagar. The suspect, 25-year-old Balwinder Singh, had been friends with the woman for the past few years. Upon learning about their relationship, the woman’s father instructed Balwinder not to meet her anymore.
Hyderabad: A frustrated lover attacked the father of his girlfriend with an airgun after the man sent away his daughter to United States to allegedly to break their friendship.
According to the police, a businessman, aged 57 years, resides along with his family including daughter aged 23 years, at Venkateshwar Colony, Saroornagar.
The suspect Balwinder Singh, (25), was into friendship with the woman for last few years. On coming to know about it, the father of the woman asked Balwinder Singh not to meet her.
As Balwinder was continuously trying to meet the woman and speak over phone, the woman was sent away to the United States by her father. On coming to know about it, Balwinder Singh went to the house of the woman and called her father.
When the man came out, Balwinder whipped out an airgun and shot at him causing an injury in the eye. The police on information reached the spot and took Balwinder Singh into custody.
