Hyderabad: A 37-year-old man was cheated by cyber fraudsters to the tune of Rs 1.50 lakh with a promise of providing an online part time job.

The scammers obtained the victim’s personal details and promised to provide an online job with daily payments. They told him that he needed to complete a free registration and was provided with a website. The victim logged into the website and began the work.

The victim made payments as required, and the scammers continued to provide commercial ads, prompting the victim to pay repeatedly. Eventually, he realised he was being cheated and approached the Cyberabad police, who booked a case and took up investigation.
