Hyderabad: Juvenile held for automobile theft

Police said the 17-year-old along with his friend, also a minor, identified parked vehicles in residential colonies and stolen them in the night. They further disposed them and shared the money.

Hyderabad: The Hussainialam police arrested a juvenile boy on charges of stealing two-wheelers which were parked in secluded residential colonies on Wednesday. Officials recovered five bikes, altogether worth Rs 2.3 lakh from him.

Police said the 17-year-old along with his friend, also a minor, identified parked vehicles in residential colonies and stolen them in the night. They further disposed them and shared the money.


Following a recent theft incident, the Hussainialam police booked a case and identified the suspects and nabbed one of them. Efforts are on to nab the absconding suspect.

The duo was earlier involved in cases in Meerpet, Charminar, Hussainialam and Moghalpura.
